The Gothic quarter is located in the heart of Barcelona, being the centre of ¨old town¨ and Ciutad Vella. This is oldest part of the Catalan capital with areas dating back to the Roman Empire, such as Plaza San Jaume, to the medieval walls, famous churches, plazas and recently renovated facades.

The Gothic quarter is also famous for its restaurants and night bars highly frequented by foreign visitors as well. Located in the historic centre of Barcelona from here it´s easy to walk towards other areas of the city or use the metro lines of Jaume I, Barceloneta, Liceu and Drassaness.
